We do a very limited number of lynx hunts a year, but the density throughout The Bc area is very abundant to say the least. Snow Conditions play a huge part in the success on a lynx hunt. But when you get fresh snow things can happen pretty quick making it quite the adrenaline rush if I do say so myself.  Same as Cougar hunts we start searching for fresh tracks way before daylight by either truck or snowmobiles. Lynx can be very crafty when attempting to loose the hounds they’ve even been know to tree jump which means go up one tree, jump 4-5 trees then come down to confuse the hounds. Lynx are very under rated animals for how smart they really are. Very few give them the credit they deserve. All though there still No match for our wise hounds .
